Quality of Service(QoS) eliminates many of the problems associated with time delay sensitive traffic such as Voice over IP(VoIP) or Video Conferencing. Without QoS these services cannot operate properly on a busy internet connection.
Classification. Specify traffic you want prioritized based on source IP, source port, destination IP, destination port, or by Diffserv Code Point(DSCP).
Bandwidth on Demond(BoD). Reserve up to 95% of a given WAN link without fear of cutting off other applications. When prioritized traffic is not using its reserved bandwidth other applications are free to dynamically borrow from the reserve and will be throttle back once prioritized traffic is detected.
Priority Levels. Draytek routers that support our QoS feature offer up to four different class levels, allowing for a suitable amount of customization to traffic flow prioritization.
