One important advantage of a DrayTek router is that you can't mis-configure your router so badly that it can't recover. Go ahead and try anything; if you lock it up, follow this procedure to recover. Note: Before beginning the recovery procedure, set static IP information on your PC. 1. Power off the router 2. Depress the reset button located on the back of the router 3. Continue to depress the reset button and power on the router 4. Continue to depress the reset button for 10 seconds while the router is booting 5. Let go of the reset button 6. Hit send on the firmware upgrade utility(15-60 second window) |
